Story

Hi there.

How are you today?  You're looking well I must say.

So this is the page where I have to convince you to donate money to a worthwhile cause.  Hopefully the fact you've come this far will mean you'll go that little bit further with the minimal of persuasion.  After all I'm the one that has to run the 26 miles and 385yards, surely you have the easy part.  Err....Swap??

I could tell you about myself and about why I started running and why I decided on wanting to run the London Marathon, but maybe later.

The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House is a charitable organisation in West Norfolk that helps "patients, carers and families living with cancer or other life-limiting illnesses, by providing timely and professional care and much needed support. "

Still not enough? Ok, well the Hospice looks after over 280 people every month of the year, which I think is a pretty awesome thing.  Especially as recently a member of my family had a cancer scare, fortunatly they were one of the lucky ones.  Others are not quite so lucky.

I started to run last year mainly to get back in shape, then I went to London to see a friend run the marathon and the atmosphere was incredible.  To see the generosity and humanity of people coming together to support worthwhile causes was electric.  Strangers shouting encouragement to strangers is becoming unheard of, it should happen more.

I can't wait to be a part of something special and every drop of blood (hopefully not) sweat and tears will be worth it.

So have I convinced you to donate? Will you be part of something incredible?

Thank you for stopping by my my webpage, it is a start, and if you've donated my greatest of thanks to you!
