We had a great night doing the nightrider, stunned how many people and traffic around londons west end. Thanks for supporting us for Thomas's Fund. I promise there are children who are really grateful.

<p>Tim and I are decided its about time we take part in a sponsored event for Thomas's fund and 'Nightrider 2012' seemed like a good choice. We have to cycle 100km around London starting at 12.30 at night on 9th/10th June.</p> <p>The challenges for us are: Lucy, just managing to get round on her bike for approximately 6 hrs overnight and Tim, well, as a very good cyclist who competes in Time trials and races, staying with Lucy at such a low speed will be a huge challenge!</p> <p>Of course, we both know this will be easy compared to the struggles our two children, Tom and Harry had to go through every day, they are an inspiration to us and Thomas's Fund would not have started without Thomas and his love of music.</p> <p>Thomas's Fund helps children and families to have a voice and take control, we saw this first hand, particularly just before Harry died, when, he still wanted to take part in playing the chimes, which although was incredibly difficult physically for him, he managed it.
