Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This summer my Dad lost his long and brave battle with cancer. During his final few weeks, the unbelievable people of Barnsley Hospice made this time as pain free and dignified as possible for him. Our family will always grateful for the care they gave him and the support they gave to us. My Dad never took life too seriously, so it feels appropriate to do something utterly stupid to raise a little money and give something back to the Hospice. I know he would support me in making a fool of myself for a good cause, so why don't you?
I can think of nothing more stupid to do than to wear a peguin outfit for our next work night out, which is what I have been pursuaded to do, but suggestions are welcome. I haven't established how I will be able to drink in the costume, but I'm sure I will find away and hopefully provide some amusement at the same time.
Just to lay it on thick, the kind people of Barnsley Hospice also cared for my Nan recently during her last couple of weeks. They may not be a well known charity, but these people are genuine heroes and deserve all the help they can get.
So please dig deep and donate now.
