Thanks for visiting my Marathon fundraising page, especially if you've not used this site before.  Running a marathon has long been on my list of 100 things to do before I die, and as I get older every year, the rubber is finally hitting the road in more ways than one, and I can delay no longer.  As a complete non-runner, this is a real departure for me, but is has to be done, and what better place than here while I'm living in Paris.

I've supported the RAF Benevolent since I joined the RAF 26 years ago, and it's a great charity which helps a heap of folk, including the families of some of my very best friends who I joined with but who we've since lost to flying mishaps over that time.  I'm not planning on ever running a second marathon, so thanks for supporting the RAF Benevolent fund in this truly once-in-my-lifetime event.
