Thank you all for taking the time to click through and donate in support of me taking part in London's newest half marathon, Run Hackney, with all funds going to Ocean's dedicated charity, London's Air Ambulance.

I have raised over £6000 so thank you all very much.

I ran the half marathon in 2 hours 18 minutes and 18 seconds and it is fair to say it was damn hot out there yesterday (22/6) particularly the Olympic Park last 3 miles.

As you know Ocean have worked alongside London's Air Ambulance for 18 months, having learnt about the life saving procedures they deliver every day, many times a days, to the streets of London. We feel it is a great cause.

Why? Because there is only ONE helicopter to service 10 million Londoners.

It is for this reason that Ocean are offering their support to raise funds to continue not only developing the latest surgical procedures to take to our streets, but to make sure London gets another helicopter, so noone has to choose.

Paris has 6 helicopters. Sydney has 9.

London needs another.
