Story

The RMCTF are collecting money on behalf of Hasler Naval Service Recovery Centre (NRSC) for the funding of Road Bikes at ‘grass roots level’. Following the consistent success which has come from all the cycling events taken part by Hasler personnel, it is deemed appropriate to launch their own cycling club. The club, already beginning to take form is intended for both serving and veteran service personnel as well as a warm welcome to those who support Hasler. They are looking for support as they endeavour to provide entry level club road bikes as well as more broad based adaptive cycles for those who are unable to maintain the balance required or have limited or complete loss of use from their limb(s).

Hasler was created in Sep 2009 to provide Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) servicemen and women the chance to recover, rehabilitate and readapt their lives following life changing injuries/conditions.  Cycling has played a key role in many cases where it takes advantage of its non-impact and often exhilarating nature and provides an alternative outlet in allowing individuals the chance to regain some independence and exercise.

Patron Capital are proud to be supporting this great charity and I have roped Tom Morgan, CBRE and Divan Kombrink into getting on their bikes and accompanying me in riding the over 500 kilometres from London to Paris!

This event is extremely challenging and I hope you will give support through donating generously to the RMCTF to help support the Hasler Cycling Club.
