Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,

This fall we are off to northwest Spain to walk the famous Santiago de Compostela trail.  In 5 days, we will walk 100km to raise money for deaf and blind children through Sense International.   Sense International is a global leader in the provision of services for deafblind and multisensory impaired children and young adults in the developing world.

Deafblind people are the most marginalised people of all, they and their families face huge  challenges in moving out of the poverty trap. With little or no social welfare and no specialised health care, the pressure and stigmatisation of having a deafblind child is often too much to bear for some poor families. As a result, children are neglected, abandoned or institutionalised. Without support, four out of five die before their fifth birthday.

Please support us in the walk to raise funds for this great cause!!

We really appreciate your support!

Nadia and Mary
