<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Sleeping on the streets so they don't have to!</p> <p>On Friday 20th January a few of us are going to be sleeping on the streets for a night and then making our way through Saturday like someone living on the streets. &nbsp;During the sleepout we&nbsp;will experience what it is like to be one of the 150 million children across the world. &nbsp;The aim is to both raise awareness and to fundraise for Abaana, a brilliant charity working with street children.</p> <p>The streets of Durham&nbsp;in January may be cold and wet, but that will be our main challenge. Children across the world face many dangers, from diseases and thieves 24 hours a day. Many children are found dead without an explanation and without a family to bury them.</p> <p>Abaana&nbsp;have made a short film which gives an insight into what life is like for those children who call the streets of Uganda home.
