Three Peaks Challenge · 5 June 2010

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

Hello All,

On June 5th this year, along with some of my work collegues I will be participating in the gruelling 'Three Peaks Challenge' which involves climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Mount Snowdon in Wales in just 24 hours

I have obviously been training spectacularly hard to complete this monumental task and are doing so in aid of a very worthy cause- the Bobby Moore Cancer Research fund.

With the World Cup fast approaching, this is also a chance for us to remember the great Bobby Moore, who sadly died from Bowel cancer aged just 51, and encourage us to use his memory to be spurred on and raise money for this important cause.

We would greatly appreciate your donations, and donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Please dig deep and donate now, and we look forward to updating you all on our progress as well as showing you the amazing pictures we take along the way.

Thanks.
