We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

On October 2nd I, Timothy Brown (14st 10lbs), will be running in the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Bananaman Chase 10k in aid of a good friend (helpfully also called Tim) and the charity of his (that's Tim's) choice. Not me Tim, the other Tim. The other Tim recently went through a spot of bother with lymphoma, and is currently in remission. This is his attempt to raise some money for a charity which did him and does others a great deal of good, and I could not pass up the opportunity to attempt to humiliate him and run him into the ground. Did I mention that he will be dressed as a banana and still has a limp?

So, please give what you can. To add a bit more interest, I would like everyone to note down the time that they expect me to finish in. Bear in mind that I have never once run this distance, and my latest attempt saw me complete 8.3km in about 45 minutes. Whomever gets closest can win a prize or something, I dunno.
