A few months ago, I viewed a documentary on the ABC' s 4 Corners titled, '' Saving Africa's Witch Children". May be some of you had seen it! I knew straight away that I had to do somthing to help stop this evil & barbaric behavour. These children are blamed for causing illness, death and destruction, prompting some communities to put these innocent, darling children, some as young as 3 months old, through harrowing punishment while being accused of " Witch Craft". The children are being burn't, beaten, starved and tortured in order to, so called, "cleanse them"of their powers. Knowing this is happening, I am unable to sit back and do nothing.

So, we have organised the children from our daughter's pre-school to create a painting. My hubby , Marty donated a cotton canvas and had printed an under water scene, having the main illurstrations blank, for the kids to paint in and what a wonderful job they did , don't you think? We then raffled the painting off, to all the mum's and dad's at the kindy. So thank you to all who had supported this activity.  Also to the teachers , thank you.                                            

With all much needed  funds going to Stepping Stones Nigeria. SSN works to protect, save and transform the lives of these vulnerable children , offering them shelter, education, food, & medicine. Without SSN and your willingness to support, what hope do these little kid's have? Without your assistance we will achieve nothing!. But together we can do somthing that would make our kid's proud, if their old enough to understand.  Teaching them by example how to be compassionate and how to act local, and think global.
