You may find it very hard to believe (unless you've been reading our weekly updates on facebook) but we have been training to run in the London Marathon!
We decided to do this in the hope to raise money for 'The Brain Research Trust' in loving memory of our two cousins Michelle & Louise.
Michelle and Louise were mother and daughter. Michelle lost her daughter Louise at only 3 yrs old when she sadly passed away after a long battle with a brain tumour and a few years later at the age of 39 Michelle also tragically died due to a brain haemorrhage. This was one of the saddest experiences that we have ever had to encounter let alone how traumatic it was for those closest to them.
It is because both Michelle and Louise died with brain related conditions that we have chosen to raise money for the 'Brain Research Trust' - details of this charity and the work they do can be found at www.brt.org.uk
Anyone that knows us (Tina and Keeley) will be well aware that neither of us could have run across the road before we started training let alone run 26.2 miles so this is going to be a very tough challenge for both of us!!
