In previous Coast to Coast Charity Bike rides, I have been on the support team. This is the first year that I will be actually cycling and is going to be a massive challenge to me. We will be covering approx 70 miles per day starting at Bangor in Wales and finishing at Wellow in Nottinghamshire. It is 220 miles in total and we will be doing the ride over 3 days.

As in previous years we will be donating to the Nottingham University Hospitals Charity, raising money to go towards the purchase of a new 3D Digital Mammography and Biopsy machine for the Nottingham Breast Institute based at the City Hospital in Nottingham. Many of us will have had a family member or friend, who has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and will be aware that catching this disease early can make all the difference to ultimately beating it. So the purchase of this state of the art technology is vital to diagnosing Breast Cancer as early as possible and saving more lives.

As I work for Barclays Bank, they will be matching every pound I raise under their matched funding scheme so every pound you donate will be count even more.
