We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 17th February 2013 I will be joining Jonjo Heuerman on his "Route 66" walk to support the Booby Moore Fund in memory of the West Ham and England legend on the 20th Anniversary of his death.

We will be walking 66 miles (the year the great man and his WHU team mates won the World Cup!!) in 6 days (his Shirt number) from West Ham United's ground at Upton Park to Wembley Stadium (the two grounds where he played).

Bobby Moore was, and still is, a very important part of my life and I hope that you will help keep his memory alive by donating as much as you can to this good cause.

Many thanks, Tina xx

For further details, see Jonjo's story below:

My name is Jonjo and I am 10 years old. My nanny and Bobby Moore both died from bowel cancer. I wanted to do something to help save people so I do lots for The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK, so far I have raised almost £91,000 and I have generated over £1million in awareness for the charity.

Next year is Bobby's 20th anniversary and I am doing something very special. I am organising a tag team for each of the 92 professional football clubs. Each team will collect their captains armband, attach it to a sash with a GPS tracking device, and take the sash to the next club in the chain. There are 10 connecting chains and this will happen right across England between 13th and the 19th Feb 2013 until the sashes reach me at the gates of Upton Park. When I am tagged I will wear all of the sashes and I will walk to Wembley Stadium to collect the England captains armband for Bobby and I will bring it back to Upton Park. My part of the walk will be 66 miles (World Cup Year) in 6 days (Bobby's shirt number).

This is my video message http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk5FB2I3bB0, it tells you a bit more about my event.  There are lots of people joining in and helping me raise money and awareness and I hope you can too.

You can read lots about me on the internet if you Google Jonjo Heuerman or on my website www.fornannyandbobby.com.
