Story
I'm Tina Walker, I'm no spring chicken and for some strange reason I'm going to jump out of a perfectly good plane to try to raise money for Gosport and Fareham MS Group. I've been married to Stephen for 40 years, we have a 28 year old daughter called Sophie and are slaves to our ancient moggy called Opal.
In 1979 after an attack that left me paralyzed on my right hand side, unable to talk or even find any words to say, I was diagnosed with MS. I was lucky to regain some function and use a wheelchair these days. Regaining my words pleased me so much, although I'm not sure that the others appreciate that quite as much as me :-)
This is a cause that is very dear to my heart, you will be helping people affected by MS locally should you choose to sponsor me. The group provide activities, events and the opportunity to meet others similarly affected by MS. We try hard to help end the isolation that chronic long term illness can bring. The group also support people as a listening ear or by way of grants for equipment.
