I am running for the Newcastle Cat & Dog Shelter. 

They receive approximately 3,000 unwanted, abandoned, injured and neglected animals per year.  They provide care and shelter until the animals can either be reunited with their owners or a loving home can be found.

They also provide veterinary treatment and special care for injured, sick and abused animals.

All this is done on donations alone!
