From the 10th to the 13th of July I'm pushing my body to its limits and riding from London to Blois in the Loire Valley in France with 120 colleagues from across Saint Gobain to celebrate the Group's 350th anniversary, (http://www.saint-gobain.co.uk/saint-gobain-350-years/).

We'll be cycling 100 miles a day for four days.  This is not going to be a comfortable summer jaunt.  It's 4 hard days in the saddle and one that's going to require adherence to a rigorous training programme and one that will require me to train between 7 and 15 hours each week which I've started already in the cold!

We're raising money for the Saint Gobain Together Partnership (http://.saint-gobain.co.uk/about-us/charity-partners/) which this year is supporting two charities that do amazing work: Macmillan Cancer Support and the Irish Cancer Society.
