I am running the 10K for 3 different charities along with 500 other people under the banner of Love running - or in my case endure running.
The money will be distributed to the charities via a local church organisation called Woodlands, once they have claimed back the tax for us. The chosen charities are:

The project in Zimbabwe is of extreme urgency, and World Vision are working in remote projects that will literally save lives - particularly those of children - in the grip of an ongoing cholera epidemic and unprecedented famine, suffering and misery.
It's one of the most desperate situations in the world right now,
Stop the Traffik
Stop the traffic work with those suffering Oppression. It is estimated that there are 12.3 million people in forced labour worldwide, of which 2.4 million are the result of human trafficking. That's slavery, to you and me.
The modern slave trade is now the second largest source of illegal income worldwide, just behind drug trafficking. Shockingly, an estimated 1.2 million of those trafficked each year are children.
Love running is supporting stop the traffik to take a stand against this injustice and help fund programmes of education, advocacy and protection - particularly for the most at risk women and children.
St Peter's Hospice
St Peter’s Hospice is 's only adult hospice caring for local people with incurable illness such as cancer.
