Having visited Becky's mum, Elspeth, in Willen Hospice I felt that I wanted to do something to help them continue to offer this great support to other families in future.

Unfortunately Elspeth is no longer with us but is forever in our hearts and we shall always remember her spirit and personality. I am not sure that she would have liked the idea of me stepping out of a plane whilst it was in the air as she was always so concerned to look after those that she cared about, however, I am sure that she would agree that action is better than inaction and certainly with the cause that this is in aid of.

The care that she received in Willen Hospice, being looked after by a wonderful team in a lovely atmosphere, went a long way to ensuring her last days were as peaceful and dignified as possible and the staff at Willen help to care for over 600 patients every year.
