JUST DID IT !!!! AT JOHN O'GROATS 4.30PM FRIDAY 30 SEPTEMBER. JUST INSIDE 13 DAYS

Tom and I have chosen to cycle from Lands End to John O' Groats in aid of Dyscover in memory of John Flood (Tom Ashton's father in law). After he suffered a stroke Dyscover became a huge and beneficial support in John's life.

The charity provides opportunites for so many incredible people, but as with all charities at the moment needs to increase its fundraising efforts to continue to provide support to so many stroke survivors.

We are setting off from Land's End on Saturday 17th of September on bicycles loaded with panniers and hope to reach John O' Groats, almost a thousand miles later, by Friday the 30th.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Dyscover provides support and opportunity for people with aphasia (also known as dysphasia), and their families. This disability is caused by a stroke, head injury or other illness and affects the ability to communicate. Dyscover provides a unique programme of courses and activities from centres in Walton-on-the-Hill and New Malden. Over 250,000 people in the UK have aphasia, yet 9/10 people have never heard of it. People with aphasia have difficulty reading, writing and understanding what is being said.
