Story

Thank you for getting this far in the first place!

As many of you may know I will be taking part in  a charity Boxing match in June and thought this would be a fantastic opportunity to raise some money for a cause which is truly close to my heart.

The lady you see in the picture was one of the most loving and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in the short time I've been around. Ever the optimist, Gill Jamison, battled to the end with Ovarian Cancer and sadly passed away in September 2008.

Ovarian Cancer Action is a phenomenal charity investing over one million pounds a year into the most cutting edge research in order to acheive their goal of finding a cure against this silent killer.

The Jamison family are an incredible bunch of people (http://www.justgiving.com/gmj) who have tirelessly worked the past 5 years to raise over £50,000 for the Ovarian Cancer Action and The Christie hospital in Manchester.

What I can achieve here will undoubtedly be a drop in the ocean to what these guys have managed, but every single donation really does count and even the smallest donation will be appreciated by myself, the Jamison family and OCA, more than you could imagine.

If you can make it to the boxing then fantastic and let's make it a night to remember, if not then perhaps you could leave a little token on this page for a well worthy charity and to the legacy of someone who made a mark on everyone who had the fortune of meeting her.

This one is for you Gill x
