npower, my employer, has now been working with Macmillan for 10 years and has organised a number of challenges this year, with the aim of raising £150,000.

We are rowing around Lake Windermere in old school rowing boats, roughly 21 miles and 6-7 hours of hard graft. npower will match pound for pound everything I raise, so please donate whatever you can to help support this great cause. 

Macmillan does simply amazing work, not only for cancer patients, but for their families too, funding nurses, cancer centres and practical support. They are almost entirely dependent on donations and fundraising, which is why I am taking on this challenge.
