Hi Guys,

Thanks for making it this far in your attempts to sponsor me, just handing over the money left now. I promise this is not a T. Gillard get drunk fund (a noble charity), it is actually for Cancer Research Wales!

Cancer Research Wales are a charity close to my heart as they are based at Velindre Hospital in Cardiff and I grew up about a decent rugby punt away, also they helped treat my mum a couple of years ago. Anyone who has met Mammy Gillard knows what a legend she is, and if I can raise any amount to help them reach their goals it is the least I can do to show my thanks to a great place and people.

All of you know me and have witnessed my general fitness (or lack of it) so let me assure you I have taken  this seriously (not drunk since February apart from Easter bank holiday) and am confident of crossing that finish line. The London marathon is definately the biggest challenge I have ever taken on and I am getting a little nervous now, but all your support has been great and will spur me on to the end.
