Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! A keen taste for curries, mexican, kebabs and every other food is sure to mean this will be a great challenge for me...

I will be part of a team of Yeldall Manor ex-residents, staff and supporters who will be attempting to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge on 3rd-4th September 2011. As we ascend Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike (in the dark!) and Snowdon consecutively, the team will need to walk/climb 26.5 miles and will be on their feet for over 12 hours. Our purpose in completing the event is to raise money for the Good Samaritan Bursary Fund - enough (£5,580) to enable one man to complete the Lodge Resettlement programme (let me know if you would like to know more about this).

Yeldall Manor is a Christian rehabilitation centre near Reading providing residential rehabilitation to men with drug or alcohol addictions, who come from a variety of backgrounds, offering them "a hope and a future".

I have seen first hand the awesome life changing impact this place can have on lads who have suffered from addiction and how faith and relationships can transform their lives in a unique way, for their benefit and for society as a whole.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will contribute to a local charity that really is changing lives for the better.
