My story

Hello. Thanks for taking the time to visit my fund raising page.

In April, I am running the London Marathon.  As well as making it to the end, I am hoping to raise loads of money for a really fantastic small charity called Mosac.

You may not have heard of Mosac, but they do some great work supporting all non-abusing parents and carers whose children have been sexually abused.  Abuse is terrible for the children concerned, but can also be devastating for the whole family and Mosac provide support services and information for parents, carers and professionals dealing with child sexual abuse. You can see their website here

It is not a subject we like to talk about much, but it does happen, and Mosac provides a very important service.  They are a small organisation with 4 staff supported by volunteers and they need every penny they can get to keep doing their work.  For example £5 pays for one phone call to give valuable support, care and advice, £35 pays for a play therapy session for younger clients and £300 will train up a volunteer to be able to help parents, carers and children affected by sexual abuse.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Mosac and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for Mosac.

So please dig deep and donate now!
