Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Tom Henry, I have been in the Royal Marines for 4.5 years and I'm soon due to leave but can't help feel like a have to do more! My friend George Moore supported me through my career and is a big supporter of the Armed Forces with friends in both the Royal Marines and the Army!

That is why George Moore and I are taking part in the L'ETAPE DE FRANCE in July this year, this is basically the equivalent of a marathon in the cycling world! It involves cycling 174 km over 3 major mountains in the Pyrenees in the South of France to be completed in 10 hours!

This promises to be a grueling and unforgiving event so we thought we might as well do it for a good cause! And what better and more appropriate cause than HELP FOR HEROES as George and I have many friends that are in the Armed Forces who have been to Afghanistan or are due to go out in the next coming months.
