A team of us are taking on what is reputed to be the hardest foot race in the world.  We're doing it to raise money and awareness of the Air Ambulance Service that we work for to help it carry on the vital work that we do every day for the people of London who are seriously injured on our roads, our building sites & in our homes.  Our patients suffer traumatic injuries and we are asked to help them 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  They may be a few months old or a 100 years old.  When asked, we go.

We are venturing into the desert to cover over 150 miles of the Sahara desert in 6 days of running.  Our suffering will be nothing compared with that of our patients.
