Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November 2009, my uncle Chris Dodds sadly lost his battle with chronic lung disease.
Chris was a genuinely warm, and generous man with a great sense of humour. He remained in good spirits despite the severity of his condition and loved spending time in the countryside where he would sit for hours observing the local wildlife. The photo on the left of the screen is one of Chris, taken near his home in the Lake District.
In order to raise money for the British Lung Foundation in Chris's memory, his widow Clare, son Lee, niece Andrea and myself will be completing the Great North Run half marathon. If we raise £2000 or more, the BLF will plant a tree in Chris's memory at a local National Trust site which would be a fitting tribute.
On behalf of myself and all the family, thank you very much for your support and donations.
All the best,
Tom
