On the 4th of September 2016 myself and a group of around 40 other students from Warwick University will be traveling to Peru to trek the Salkantay trail. At the end of this trek we will reach Machu Picchu, a 15th century Inca city that has been named one of the seven wonders of the world.
When I started university I decided I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. This trek was the perfect opportunity to see how far I could push myself while also helping a fantastic charity with their work. The Make A Wish foundation supports young people across the country who are fighting life-threatening conditions. The wishes they have granted allow young people to take a day off from their illnesses and be kids again.
