In about 2 weeks myself, and small bunch of work colleagues from Ogilvy, will be traveling to a small village called Buikwe in southern Uganda to get our hands dirty working on a project for the local community. Previous trips have seen the foundations laid and the first 4 classrooms built of a new school. Our job will be to continue the hard work and finish a further 4 classrooms. Although a lot has been done already it’s really just the beginning. Many Ogilvy Hands plans to do much, much more. They’re looking to build an orphanage for example, fund new farm machinery and bore a well.
To help raise money for
this project I'm taking part in The Blenheim Triathlon on Saturday 5th
June. Although my main aim is to survive and not drown it'd be great if
I could raise £1000 or more for such a great cause! So please sponsor
me!!
