Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for COCO
Jocelyn and I have set ourselves the challenge of climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It's 20,000 feet above sea level and takes six days to reach the summit where the overnight temperature plummets to -20C and you have to be really careful about altitude sickness.
We're going with Steve Cram to support COCO, the charity he founded in 1998, to help poor children in Africa to get the benefit of an education. We'll be visiting some of their live projects while we're over there and seeing just how far a little bit of money really does go.
We're ready for the trek - if Cheryl Cole and Chris Moyles can do it then so can we! I've been walking the dogs in my new boots and we've both invested in really warm sleeping bags.
Now that you're here you're only seconds away from making a difference to a child you'll never meet so please donate whatever you think is reasonable. It's totally secure and the money goes straight to COCO and no one will ever contact you as a result of making a donation - apart from Jocelyn and me to say thank you!
