Story

I ran the London Marathon on 17 April to support HFT, a charity that provides practical support for people with learning disabilities - a cause that I have supported personally for a long time.

I didn't promise a fast time, and I stuck to my word ! I am pleased to report however that I came in 27,970th place (out of approx 35,000 runners) and 2,525th place out of 4,252 runners in my age group ....

It was tough going but one of the things that did keep me going was the cause that I was running for. I'd be delighted if you made a donation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed fully.
