Just about everybody has been touched by cancer, whether it's a loved one or colleague and an increasing number of people are recovering because of the good work of places like The Christie.

So I'm running 50 miles in Macclesfield as part of the 50-50-50 event on 8th September to support them. Two people close to me suffered fromm cancer, one is recovering now thanks to The Christie - I felt useless at the time, now here's my chance to do something positive.

Just to make it interesting, I'll be tackling the 56 mile Bullock Smithy Hike the weekend before - but I might have a rest after 8th! :-)
