We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hi All, thanks for coming to my Just Giving page!

This spring, me and 3 others (maybe 4) will be cycling the length of the country from John O'Groats right down to Lands End. Along the way we will be climbing the 3 national peaks: Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon.

None of us are in a state where we can do this already so we are training long and hard for it. You can read more about the page, along with our regular blogs about how our training is going on our website, www.gamblerscc.com.

I am hoping to raise as much money along the way for Cancer Research UK. I have an uncle that is currently suffering from Cancer who is undergoing treatment at the moment, and I have lost a few family members to this terrible disease. I am almost doing it for my boss at work, who's father-in-law is also suffering from Cancer. It seems everyone you speak to knows someone that is suffering, and if there is anything we can do to try and come up with a cure for this disease then I think we should.

I am taking two weeks off work to do this, and am having to go through more training than I have ever done, so I would urge you to give, as much or as little as you can, for this great cause. I will be literally putting my body on the line, pushing it to a point it has never gone before, all for this amazing cause, and I hope you can give a little bit in return.

Remember to give gift aid, as it does make a huge difference.

Thank you!
