On 21st August I will be jumping out of an aeroplane at 3500 feet on a static line parachute. "Why?!!" I hear you ask. Well there are two reasons - firstly, it's something that I'm stupid enough to want to do once in my life, but secondly, and more importantly, I want to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Towards the end of May 2010 my Nan was diagnosed as having a brain tumour. It is the most aggressive type of cancer and she had an operation to have as much of it removed as possible. She got through the operation and is now moving into the radiotherapy stage of treatment, before starting chemotherapy in October.  I want to raise money so that further research can be done in order to combat a disease which affects so many people nowadays. I am aiming to raise £500 to contribute to further research, and your help with this would be very much appreciated.
