HELP I'M DOING A PARACHUTE JUMP!

ok guys, im doing a parachute jump for DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGIES, which is a charity that does great work in developing countries (information below). i need to raise a minimum £395.00 by June 20!!! Thats nearly £400.00 in less than a month!!! im really worried that im not going to raise enough so every penny counts!! please donate as much as you can, and if youd rather do it in person send me a message and ill come and collect :)

Developing Technologies (www.developingtechnologies.org) is a charity that uses the expertise of engineering students and professional engineers at City University and Imperial College London to alleviate chronic poverty and save lives in developing countries.  DT designs, develops and delivers affordable and appropriate technology by working directly with and training poor communities. For example DT has designed novel technology to drill for water and an effective ambulance system that is affordable to developing countries. We are beginning to have a real impact.

The need is great. For example, every year 1.4 million children die from diarrhea caused by dirty drinking water (WHO) and 500,000 women die in pregnancy and child birth and four million babies don’t survive beyond four weeks (WHO), in part because of a lack of emergency transport.

DT is trying to reduce these unnecessary deaths and the money you fundraise will make an important difference.

About the charity

Developing Technologies designs, develops and delivers appropriate and sustainable technology solutions that have a lasting impact on communities in the developing world, alleviating the effects of chronic poverty by delivering economically and socially viable technology to local communities.
