Hello!

Myself and 6 workmates are attempting to walk/climb to the summits of the highest peaks of the six regions of the British Isles in only 72 hours.

The idea is to walk the peaks from sea level to the summit and back. Travel between peaks will be within a 9 seater minibus, so loads of room to stretch out and it won't smell a bit inside, honestly.

The order of the peaks is: Isle of Man / Snaefell (2,036 ft), Wales / Snowdon (3,560 ft), England / Scafell Pike (3,209 ft), Scotland / Ben Nevis (4,409 ft), Ulster / Slieve Donard (2,785 ft), Eire / Corran Tuathail (3,306 ft).

The Challenge starts from Laxey Harbour on the Isle of Man on Friday 13th September (dodgy day I know) at 1330 hrs. We then have 72 hours to successfully complete the Challenge with the timing finishing when we have descended the final summit by lunchtime Monday 16 September.

Once finished we’ll have trekked almost 50 miles, ascended nearly 20,000 ft, driven more than 1,000 miles and probably need a change of socks...
