Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. When my friend Dan started working for the Elephant Family and told me that the Asian elephant was under threat I was shocked. I had no idea that the population had shrunk by 90% over the last century. I remember when I visited Nepal and saw elephants in the wild. They are such lovely and intelligent animals and I wanted to do something to help. So I am doing the BUPA 10K to raise as much money as I can. An extra bonus is that helping the Asian elephant also helps tigers, which are my favourite animal and also endangered, because they share the same habitat.
