Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·

Across the UK, 5.8 million unpaid carers support loved ones who are older, disabled, or seriously ill. Carers UK provides essential advice, information, and support while campaigning to transform understanding and win critical developments in carers’ rights.

Story

Some months ago now I made the latest in my 26-year long sequence of bad decisions. I entered the Brighton Marathon.

Apparently it's bitchin' hilly, and this will be my first full marathon, so this is going to be VERY HARD. You can help ease this by sponsoring me & donating generously to the good people of Carers UK at the link below! Carers UK support people who provide care for friends or relatives - I'm sure many of you have seen first-hand how much of a toll this can place on people, so please dig deep - it's a very worthy cause!
