Every year Durham School enters a team of staff and students from across the school into the BUPA Great North Run. This year I have volunteered to join the team to take on the challenge of the half marathon for the first time.

The charity the school has chosen to raise funds for this year is the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity which provides emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. I'd be delighted if you would sponsor me to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.
