My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well after 3 years of intensive child-rearing and fearfully watching my ever expanding waistline I have decided to dust off my running shoes and hit the road again. I will be dragging my new found companion, my beer belly, round the 10 miles of the great south run in late October.

Wary of the new competition, the Kenyans are reported to have redoubled their high altitude training and will be anxiously glancing over their shoulders throughout the race...

The charity I am running for, the Forces Childrens Trust is a small charity that provides help and support to the children of our Armed Forces who have lost a parent in conflict- the photo above showing young Alex Wall searching for his fathers name  reminds us all of the terrible price paid by these young children in our name. I hope you will find it in your heart to give what you can

Many thanks- watch out for me on the podium ( I wish!)

Tom
