On March 27th 2010 i'm going to be stepping out of my comfort zone and climbing Mount Everest!!

Myself, along with a small team will be trekking up to the Everest base camp all 17,600 ft of it... battling the cold weather, altitude sickness and the hard trek itself!

I'm looking to raise something in the area of £2500 for the charity 'get kids going'! A charity based around giving disabled children and young people  the wonderful opportunity of participating in sports.

They provide them with specially built sports' wheelchairs so they can take part in marathons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, sailing, basketball and many, many more.

Playing sport is something i have always enjoyed and up until now something i have taken for granted. I'm doing this event so that others, that haven't been able to get involved in sport before now are able to have the chance to be part of something so many enjoy.

Every little you give really helps towards my target so please dig deep and donate as much as you can i would really like to hit my target of £2500 before i leave in November!
