Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Hi!

My brother David, great friend Tim and I (supported by friends and family!) completed the 60 km Jubilee Greenway Walk in London on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of May in aid of Myeloma UK, a charity that informs and supports people affected by myeloma and helps improve treatment and standards of care through research, education, campaigning and raising awareness. Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a type of cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow. I was diagnosed with the condition in 2009 and have benefited from research funded by the charity.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported our walk and has given so generously to our cause, I've been hugely lifted by the whole experience. This page remains live and any further donations would be very gratefuly received.

Best wishes

Tom
