Well... the big 3 0 is here this year and I thought I'd celebrate by running the London Marathon. After years of trying and failing in the ballot and being secretly quite pleased, look what happened - I'm running a marathon two weeks after I hit 30. Great idea.

In all seriousness, I'm doing it for a fantastic charity in the Make-A-Wish Foundation so please help me with my fundraising as it's a huge target for me to get to. Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions so please give all you can and dig that little deeper.

If I raise £1000, I'll dye my hair blue...
