Story

Ladies and Gents,

A short while ago somebody thought it would be a good idea to do the Great North Run... being as I am, I got carried away with the idea and immediately signed up... 4 months on, I realise what a stupid idea that was!... I've never run more than 5 miles, my dedication to training is poor to say the least and as for giving up alcohol and bad foods before the race, that's just never going to happen!... that's not even mentioning the fact that my feet and nipple areas are already starting to turn a nice shade of red!

So everyone... please can you make this all worthwhile by donating a couple of quid (one less pint/glass of wine this weekend) for Lineham Farm... it's a local charity in Leeds that provides holidays for inner-city kids... the type of children who don't come from the best backgrounds, do not have the opportunities many of us are so lucky to have and who would really benefit from a day or two at somewhere like this

Please donate whatever you can and it's much appreciated!!! If I can run around Newcastle for 2 hours, I'm sure you can spend 2 minutes donating to charity :-)

Thanks all

Tom
