Story
In November 2011 Danny was diagnosed with a brain tumour, grade 4. Following surgery he was left with posterior fossa syndrome, leaving him unable to walk, talk, move unaided. This was his biggest battle on a daily basis. Unfortunately Danny lost his battle and The Danny Green Fund was set up to help other families who are suffering the same within their families following brain surgery. We fund lots of children with there rehabilitation theraphy, horse riding, supply ipads.
We have previously paid for the families we help to go away in December to Centre Parcs to give them all some much needed rest bite and family time away from hospitals and treatment. At Christmas The Danny Green Fund takes toys to Great Ormond Street, Basildon Hospital, Southend Hospital and Little Havens; as we know how horrible it is to have a child in hospital over Christmas.
I became a Trustee for the charity 3 years ago and have been involved in lots of different events, this one being my biggest yet I would love your support as this will require lots of training and good shoes!!!
Every penny counts and goes to a family charity set up in Danny's name, even a pound donation can make a difference.
