Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you will have learnt I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in November 2010, at this point I knew very little about what the Pancras did and its survival rates. I have been on a steep learning curve, but shockingly whilst survival rates for almost all other cancers have improved in the past 40 years the survival rates for Pancreatic Cancer have not improved.
Since diagnosis I have been in and out of hospital and my ability to do any everyday things now frustrates me. A walk of 5km may be beyond me and I may have to complete some of it in a wheel chair. However, I am determined to complete this walk to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Pancreatic Cancer Research so that the survival rates for this terrible and terminal disease improve for future generations, please give as much as you can, this is a personal battle for me.
Please also make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on your donation as this increases the total amount of money the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund receives.
If you wish to attend and walk with me I will be walking with my family at Sywell Country Park in Northamptonshire on Saturday 2nd April. The aim is to meet at 12:00 and start the walk at 13:00. Details of the part at:

Please come with your family and support me if you can.
My sincere thanks and best wishes
Tony
