I'm climbing the 3 highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland in 24 hours to specifically raise money for the children's burns unit in Alder Hey Hospital.  

Alder Hey Hospital treats all levels of burn injury in children, including those severely injured who require paediatric intensive care. Approximately 230 burned children per year are treated as inpatients.

These children come from England, Wales and the Isle of Man. The catchment area for Wales includes the whole of the North Wales region and extends as far as Aberystwyth. Severely burned children are also admitted to Alder Hey from anywhere within the UK by the Burn Bed Bureau. Approximately ten patients per year require paediatric intensive care.
