Pilgrimage on Poverty · 17 October 2009

Northamptonshire YMCA is a leading Christian charity helping young people to feel a sense of Value and Purpose, belong and trust growth and development, they achieve this by offering a range of programmes that encourage people to develop in body, mind and spirit, and enable them to participate fully in family and community life.

Story

Greetings,

The 17th October 2009 is the 10th Anniversary of the Pilgrimage on Poverty which was walked from Iona to London in 1999.  Jacinta and I are going to commemorate this in a small way with a group of others in a pilgrimage on the 17th October 2009.  Not one of our usual 200 mile attempts but a more symbolic 8 miles from Peterborough Cathedral to Helpston.  Groups will be praying for us and with us along the way.

We are seeking sponsorship to support Northamptonshire YMCA and in particular the youth café project we are looking to start in Brackley.

Please give what you can and don't forget to gift aid if you are eligible
