I know now is probably not the best time to be asking people to donate money, but whatever you can donate will make a massive difference.

I have had a beard for quite some time now. It hasn't been trimmed for 7 or 8 months, and originally I had no plans to trim it in the future. However, even though I really don't want to lose it, I am willing to shave it off in order to assist St John Ambulance in the fight against COVID-19. 

As a volunteer for St John Ambulance I am very aware of just how much the organisation is doing on the frontline right now. Whether its providing volunteers to staff the Nightingale Hospitals, Ambulances and crews support the NHS ambulance services, assisting with PPE or other some other form of support, St John Ambulance is there. 

Doing all of this comes at a great cost. St John Ambulance is a charity and has had to suspend all event cover and commercial training, which is the main source of the charity's income, to provide this help on the frontline. 

My aim is to raise as much as possible. I have set a target of £1000. I will be shaving it completely, including a wet shave, so all traces will be gone. I will look weird, but it'll be worth it.
